Remember the path, then walk it again
April 6, 2026
Time outdoors is linked with a better mood. Seeing yesterday's streets is sometimes enough to go out again.
CDC calls walking the most common way adults get aerobic activity. You do not need a gym. You need a safe street.
Walking outside, especially near trees, is often linked with less stress and a better mood than staying indoors.
A finished walk fades quickly. Seeing the streets you just used helps your brain remember this is something you already did.
Use an old loop when you need a reason to go tomorrow. A familiar path has less friction. You do not have to invent a route every morning.
Routes can stay on the phone with the rest of your history. You do not need to post them to remember that you walked.
